Who was Daniele Maffeis? A composer, organist and pianist born in Gazzaniga in 1901, Maffeis followed a musical tradition that combined spontaneity and refinement. Among the more than 200 works he composed in his lifetime are many valuable musical pages that are unfortunately unknown to most today. Far from being an exhaustive treatment of his life and works, this short documentary simply wants to be an invitation to rediscover his figure.
